Two More Awards For Excellence
Excel received two awards for Excellence in Electrical Construction during the 56th Annual IEC National Convention and Electric Expo in Portland, Oregon.
Excel was first the recipient of the award in the large Industrial category for their work on the Mitsubishi Power Systems Americas – Savannah Machinery Works, in Pooler, GA. The project was completed in June 2013 with a total contract in excess of $11,000,000 for the electrical work. Wendell Martin, Operations Vice President with Batson-Cook Company, writes about Excel’s performance: “Excel’s expertise and ability to solve complicated design and construction problems enabled these multiple projects to run smoothly for all those involved. Their unwavering sense of ownership and attention to detail, along with their honest and forthright communication, made for a successful project experience.”
The second award was in the large Commercial category for Excel’s performance on the Eastside Medical Center Bed Tower Expansion in Snellville, GA. The $4,000,000+ project was completed in November 2012. Regarding Excel’s performance J.E. Dunn’s Project Manager, Joshua Rhodes, writes: “J.E. Dunn Construction Company would like to recognize the excellent work performed by Excel Electric on the Eastside Medical Center project in Snellville, Georgia. Excel Electric was contracted for the electrical / fire alarm package at Eastside’s Bed Tower Expansion. Your team’s dedication and commitment to deliver a first rate product on time, under an aggressive schedule, and within budget was demonstrated on a daily basis.”
